Use

Check your dog or cat’s ears regularly every week. A healthy ear is clean and odourless. If you notice any smell, dirt or mucus in your pet’s ears, clean them immediately to prevent ear infections and yeast.

Depending on the size of the ear, pour 5-15 drops of Oxyfresh Ear Cleaner into each ear canal of your dog or cat. Rubbing the base of the ears will intensify the action of the ear cleaner and effectively remove build-up of earwax and dirt. Finally, wipe the ears with a clean cotton wool wrapped around your finger.

If you have a lot of earwax, repeat the treatment until all the earwax has been removed. The treatment can be repeated in a course of several consecutive days to clean the ears thoroughly.

Tip! You can warm the bottle for a while before use, for example in your pocket, so that the warmed ear cleaner feels more comfortable on your dog’s or cat’s sensitive ear.

Ear problems that need veterinary attention

If you suspect that your pet has ear mites, yeast, if the ears are wet, bleeding or sore, the pet should be taken to a vet. Ear cleaner should not be used to treat such diseased ears. In addition, cotton buds or other objects that may damage the eardrum should not be inserted into the ear canal. It is safest to clean only the part of the ear that is visible.
